Classically trained musicians Florian Schneider and Ralf Hütter formed Organisation in 1968. Their music was a mixture of sounds, feedback and rhythm. The band took part in various performances at art galleries and universities.
They recorded one album for RCA Victor early 1970. The line up was Fred Monicks on drums, Butch Hauf on bass, Basil Hammoudi on vocals, Florian Schneider on flute and violin and Ralf Hütter on organ. The sales were poor but nowadays it is very sought after and many bootleg releases exist.
After Organisation Ralf Hütter and Florian Schneider continued as Kraftwerk.

Ohr Records
Pioneering in early Berlin school electronic and experimental music which had its first releases in Summer of 1970. The final releases were done in 1973. In this time, they released 33 albums [4 of which were double LPs] and twelve 7" singles.
The first 17 Ohr LPs had a 5-digit catalog number. These were numbers 56.000 to 56.016.
The next 12 single LP releases had 6 digit catalog numbers. These were number 556.017 to 556.033.
The second editions of the first 17 album also had 6 digit catalog numbers. These date from 1972 and 1973.
The 7" singles were all given catalog numbers from OS 57.000 to 57.012.
In the early 1980's several Ohr LPs were reissued by Bernanard Mikulski GmbH with original cover and label artwork. These can be recognized by the "Pop Import" logo and address on the cover.
