EMBRYO
In 1979 Embryo started a nine month tour to India by bus, which was documented by the movie "Vagabundenkaravane". Embryo developed from jazzy Krautrock to a world music band, which is able to merge different styles and trends. Many of their albums originated during collective journeys on 4 continents. The band played many festivals around the globe: in India (Mumbai Jazz 1979), England (Reading 1973), Nigeria (Port Harcourt Jazz 1987), Japan(Wakayama 1991) to name a few. In July 2008 Embryo was awarded the German World Music Award RUTH 2008 at the TFF.Rudolstadt Festival.

Ejwuusl Wessahqqan Originally they started under the moniker TIME OF WASTE in 1971
together with a guitarist who disappeared the next year and took that name with him. The bizarre EJWUUSL WESSAHQQAN derives from a science fiction story written by US artist Clark Ashton Smith. The band's music appears here as mysterious as the band name. Situated in Munich they were related to Amon Düül 2 at that time. You can recognize this when exploring the songs which are experimental and stylistically differing a lot. The self-made 7 stringed instrument Filouphone marks another unique aspect of the band and adds oriental elements to the sound.

Eruption
Eruption
Label: Qbico
Released: 2005

Performers:
Conrad Schnitzler
Klaus Freudigmann
Wolfgang Seidel
Recorded 1970 at Studio Freudigmann, Berlin
Eruption was a short-lived German krautrock or experimental music
super group founded by former Tangerine Dream member and then current Kluster member Conrad Schnitzler. Eruption performed free-form, improvisational, experimental music, some of which resembles industrial music. A few pieces do have discernible melodies and/or strong rhythmic elements, at times resembling Conrad Schnitzler's
earlier work with Tangerine Dream on their "Electronic Meditation" album.

Eruption had a rapidly shifting lineup of musicians whom Schnitzler had met and played with at the Zodiak Free Arts Lab in the late 1960s and very early 1970s. At times Eruption included Klaus Schulze,
Manuel Göttsching, and Hartmut Enke, who would go on to form the trio Ash Ra Tempel, Dieter Serfas of the jazz band Embryo (3), Michael
Günther and Lutz Ulbrich of Agitation Free, Christa Runge, who had
read the text on the first Kluster album, as well as members of Amon Düül. Conrad Schnitzler described Eruption this way: "So anyway we got 10 musicians together; rock musicians, freejazz and electronic musicians - all together. We did some really interesting things."
When Eruption went into the studio the lineup consisted of Schnitzler, Wolfgang Seidel, and Klaus Freudigmann. This lineup also assumed the Kluster name after the departure of Dieter Moebius and Hans-Joachim Roedelius. The recent releases by both Kluster and
Eruption are drawn from tapes which survived in Fredigmann's attic for more than 30 years.
